What I liked:
  • gave me some practical idea of what DevOp means practically
  • slides are cool
  • interesting topic, interesting info
  • nice overview + delve into details later
  • great pictures !
  • lots of tools
  • difficult to follow for me --> it was way beyond my understanding
  • very nice slides!
  • good tips (default settings, automate, small steps)
  • fun way of presenting
  • lots of elements touched
  • some insights about the benefits of the suggested tools
  • good intro to config mgmt using chef/puppet
  • some good new tools introduced
  • lilke Vagrant/Monit
  • the topic
  • examples in the slides
  • more prepared
  • great visuals
  • good topic idea
  • freom the trechnes
  • examples of script
  • slide images
  • introduction using feedback loops
  • fun, lego slides, important
  • overtuigende presentatie dat het mogelijk is
  • honest session, good dev perspective
  • it really appealed to the dev side to use it
  • I really like the lego slides
  • introduction to a lot of techniques
To make it perfect:
  • give more overview at the beginning of the presentation --> I didn't know where it was going
  • add facts eg how long to configure a VM? How much time before adoption of chef != puppet
  • global vision - VMs, Jenkins, Chef, time aspect, git, dependencies between all of those, what's the process? (visualisation)
  • some more action in the 2nd part (or pictures of the stuff you show to understand the overview better)
  • demo of deployment
  • perhaps a kata showing effects?
  • example/demo of puppet of chef
  • I missed the overview, for example an architectural view would have helped understanding the benefits
  • some actual codeing examples as the use-case is difficult to understand as a newbie
  • real coding
  • more technique examples
  • real time deployment during session or any other examples
  • maybe too much covered. Would be nice to cover less but show more stuff live
  • visualize more the landscape of tools
  • present the lifecycle in sa clearer, possibly visual fashion
  • interactive session <-> presentation? difference is not clear
  • a bit more handson stuff?
  • deployment examples
  • ?
  • demo would have been nice
  • keep the cod examples smaller. Tell the idea not the syntax
